hey guys  .. great to see the site up and running again ...
im having trouble finding a direct link for an addon ive included in a mission that has taken nearly two years to complete.. would it possible to include it in the mission folder  it weighs in at 128 mb  anderssons backpack ?  ive tried replacing it with coc backpack  but it has different functions
please  help me  like i said two years in the making  and i cant find link for addon ... :afro:

The only backpack I found was this one: Mapfact Rucksack Addon V1.1

Hmm, you can upload the addon to rapidshare, yousendit or maybe even ofp.info
I think that there's enough possibilities to get it hosted, but please don't include it in your mission. It's best to prevent that.

i got the addon from ofp info  but they removed it ... tried the mapfact addon  but only allows one choice of weapon where as with anderssons you could carry two weapons  ... vital to the way the mission plays out ... ill look into getting it hosted on another site  ..l thanx for youre swift response

Try somewhere like filefront... they let you host large files once you register.

Hopefully, 'real soon now', we will be able to do something to help you.

In the meantime, keep them as separate packages. You're trying to get your mission 'out there' not the addon, which would put people off downloading your mission at such a large size (a perception thing)

we look forward to testing this 2 year old infant of yours. When the time comes, just post two separate urls in your topic in the Beta Forum.

into the search field and look what popped up:  :)

Andersson's backpack - and the download link was even working.
