Title: A good observer script
Post by: JasonO on 25 Aug 2006, 20:12:30
Hi
I have seen some maps in the past have scripts to let you observe a game once you die, or automaticly start observing at the start of the game.

I am having trouble finding a good script to do this. I want to flick through the players in a squad and maybe so I can adjust the camera a little.

I am going to get this to work when the player dies, instead of him respawning as a bird I want it to make it so the player can observe the game... this I should have no problems with (Killed event handler or !alive condition).

If anyone could point me in the direction of (or attach) a goodish observer script for me to use.

Thanks for your help

You mean something like Kegetys Spectator script?

I'll see if I can locate it, but someone may beat me to it.

silola's xcam is also good, but requires some modifications.

However it just so happens that an addon i made (and am still developing) has both systems already implemented, with some additional features such as 1st person only, no escape and fly around as a seagull mode

addon is called tx_utils
