Title: weapon sounds.

Sometimes when I add a new .wav sound for a weapon it doesn't work.

I've checked and doublechecked my typing, and there is nothing wrong, but some .wav files simply won't work.  Does anybody know why this is happening?

Also, does anyone here know where is a good site to download weapon sounds?

I changed the sound of one of the Mg3 addons. I found the .wav only worked properly when having these properties;
22Khz 8-bit mono.

Also, what sounds are you looking for?

Thanks for the info.

I'm looking for a good single shot sound that has a clinking afterwards, to represent the brass/links hitting the ground.  The best sound I've found is from Kegety's M60 soldier (remember that?).

I don't want to use his sound, but it's the best I can find.

I've got some DV-clips lying around. They should have a sound fitting that description. I'll check and see.
If i do find anything i can mail it to you.
