Title: how to go from .p3d into game?
Post by: bsspewer on 20 Oct 2002, 04:30:45
i'm lost on how to get my created object in .p3d format into the game? and i textured it using a .gif picture.  Do i take both the .gif and .p3d and turn them into a .pbo and place them in the addons folder? Can i use .gif or should i convert to .paa or .pac and how would i do that?

Edit:  i'm sorry for the waste of post.  I just found a tutorial that i overlooked that looks as if it has everything i need.  So don't mind answering this now that i found it..thanks anyways.

Did you find a tutorial about Tank? :o

What's your progy for modeling (O2)?

With O2 it's better to convert your pic with TexView by BIS. and tex in o2.

Don't forget to put your pic in the folder of your p3d.

After that you have to make a pbo of that folder and place it in Addon path of your OFP
