Can you have water above 0 meters? I know there is a animated water texture but I dont think it blends with other textures
Thanks

Tide changes up to 5 meters (if i'm not wrong) above the sea level (0 meters) depending on month/day/hour.
You can create a river or a lake above the sea level but it will surely dries at certain periods.

Water unfortunately is stuck at OFP sea level (+ or - 5 or 6 meters depending on the tides as klavan said).
If you make a river or lake at 50 metres above sea level it will not contain any water, unless you make it a very steep sided lake or river.......50 metres deep. :P

what you could do is a lake without the standard BIS water. make a large water-surface object instead and place it in the lake. mapfact made its pond like that afaik. the downside is that - without scripting - noone would drown in the pont.

Thanks guys Ill look into that addon, Cant you script it where if a loon walks into this certain x,y,z area he will loose damage? anyways just wondering! Thanks guys
-
errr, certainly, but you cannot execute a script at the init of wrp-placed objects, so you would have to set up triggers like the seb nam river crossing triggers maybe... but after all i'm not really into scripting. ;D
btw, that pond by mapfact isn't released yet, there are only some screenshots around.
but it's really simple to make such a water surface. just make a large plane in o2, like 40x40m wide, and map it with a semi-transparent seamless water texture. and if you don't have one yet... here you get one :)

FischKopp was working on on a creek addon that had running water etc. over on the Offical forums. Although he never finished it, there were loads of ideas posted that you could try out. :)
