I've posted a message here http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard301/ikonboard.cgi?s=3daef4e64746ffff;act=ST;f=7;t=21294 about an artillery script that takes your position, angle, muzzle velocity, etc. and "fires" a round from that spot using setVelocity.
