Title: Best Snowy Island And Script

i have this idea for a mission,but i need a good snow island, i am not looking for anything ovver 20megs,and a good script that would make a snow storm, so inpute would be great

An example of a very good snow island could be

Winter Nogojev (http://koti.mbnet.fi/kegetys/ofp/index.php?p=addon_wnogo)

but it's too big for you, unfortunately.

(~57 MB PBO size)

yeah, a little big....what i need more of is a barren island, without alot of house's ;D

I'm not very familiar with the various winter islands, but for a snowstorm, you might want to take a look at the NIM Dynamic Weather System (http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard311/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=4;t=49086).

So you want a desert island type island but with snow? I dont think one exists. Here Winter Nogojev is 30.6MB not 57:

Hmmm....I don't see where he was asking about a desert island?

Winter Nogojev is indeed 57 MB PBO size, I can confirm this.

Download size for the zip file is just under 37MB.

Then there is Winter Kolgujev at just over 10MB. (no link)

On this (http://ofp.gamezone.cz/index.php?sekce=islands&archiv=true&page=12) page you will see the download links for Winter Kolgujev 1.2, Winter Malden, and Winter Everon 1.2.

EDIT:
AFAIK, Winter Kolgujev supplies not only an island, but also winter units.  Winter Everon and Winter Malden only supply the island.

how about the Leusderheide training area, winter (lowlands warrior)

its about 32mb rar  but has hardly any houses if any? very open with few trees

Winter Nogojev has effectively replaced Winter Kolgujev. So I would not recommend Winter Kolgujev at all. Is the file size that important, when you get much better quality? I know that alot of people who play FDF Mod, don't have Winter Kolgujev installed at all because it conflicts with Winter Nogojev. And Winter Nogojev is generally required in FDF Mod servers. Forcing those players to remove the installation of Winter Nogojev (Winter Nogojev needs to be in OFP\Addons to work properly, not in mod folder) just because mission author decided to go for Winter Kolgujev, is not a good idea imho...

But in the end, the choice is yours of course.
