Title: Looping waypoints?
Post by: Rawzide on 30 Nov 2005, 06:04:22
Although I am rather sure that my problem is rather simple I could'nt find a solution (I am still new to OFP editing). I have already  searched several boards and the help-files of OFP (I use GOTY 1.96) and found nothing. How do i make units to loop waypoints, for example 1>2>3>4>2>3>4>2>3>... ? I think this was very usefull for patrols and some things like this. Maybe someone knows a better way?

Thx for your answers.

P.S.: Excuse me if my english isn't the best, but i don't get much training :(

Damn! That is exactly what happens if you write posts when you almost sleep. Could someone move plz?

you need the 'cycle' waypoint type, my friend. it is very useful, as you say it's used for creating loops. take a look at a couple of these (http://www.ofpec.com/editors/browse.php?category=1_1), especially the waypoint and trigger tutorials.

oh, and welcome to the forums! :)
