do ogg files have to be 16 bit mono ? and if not how do i change them.
any other notes about sound would be helpful as this is what iam learning at the moment for day patrol thanks, i cant get my script to work trigger the sound 'moveout4.sqs' error cant find script

to change them i use gold wave you can chose what kind fo file you want
.ogg 44100khz mono or somethin like that im not sure if that has anything to do wit 16bit ?

16 bit mono is Wavs I think.

thanks for the info Planck, The-Architect, 456820 i havnt checked out the converters yet because i have cool edit pro 2 for recording music ' tons of editing stuff there but not practical for opf use '. i found a free one http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ it pops up quick, wave to ogg and some good edits like vocal tone, amp beeps and other stuff. you can make one ogg file with to voices . i tested it heres a sample moveout1 below , its only my voice but show the beeps of the progy. i havent tested it all the way yet, time :( iam beleaveing you can change you voice with this. just in case someone finds it usefull .

what is ment to say is in a intro or cutseen w/o lipwave or looking directly at the chactor, you can have many voices on one wave ogg by copy and pasteing to one. but someone should point out if the wave converter in Navy Seals tutorials do the same, as not to confuse anyone ;D
