Are there any plans for one this year?

The MEC was essentially an official thing, although many OPFEC members were involved (as both judges and winners) and OFPEC gave the project its full support, including providing hosting for the missions from the competition that have been published.

There has been no sign of one this year, and I suspect there won't be another one for a while, but the right place for questions like this is over at the official forums www.flashpoint1985.com.
