i was thinkingof a mission where you start as a spec ops parachuted in team and complete missions for the west as usual, BUT set up so in one certain mission your team is wiped out and you are somehow betrayed by the people who sent you to do the mission, so then you have to help the resistance and complete more missions against the east, up until the west sends hunter killer teams to "silence" you
just an idea, what you think?
could it work?

Indeed, it could work
but to be worth doing you would need to make the campign dynamic and with lots of different routes and endings, say you could choose to not help the resitance for some reason and join the east.
but some of these ideas are quite vague, for it to be workable you need to establish all the key plot parts, ie exactly how and why you are betrayed, in detail then you can work a campign around it.
--edit--
just re-read your post, a mission you mean???
it would be better to make a small campign or set of missions, it would be difficult but not impossible to make one mission out of it
but it would work better with a set of missions

well i was thinking for the plot you complete the standard wesern missions than go to the evac point where a UH-60mg comes to pic you up, but before it lands a spetz naz team arrives, forcinng the chopper to retreat before picking you up, then the spetz naz wipe out your team, then later as it was a deniable op and its gone to far for you to be rescued as they deny you exist but the russians sniff sometihng out cuz of the specs ops they killed (but you got away), but to dangerous to let you stay alive in russian terrototy, so they send hunter killer teams to eliminate you

interesting............
the danger is, it would feel a little rushed in one mission, two or even three, maybe more with dynamic campign stuff would make it much better
