Hi,
Just wondering if somone could give me a hand, it's not so much script based, but in game. When flying helicopters I just cant get the pan view to work properly at all with my hat. I used to be able to pan with it so that it would hold the position that i left it pointing. Now as soon as i let go of it, it just centers. This leaves me either looking straight ahead or 90 degreas left or right?!! I have a Saitek X45
Any help would be much appreciated, Many thanks Ciaron

hmmm, well welcome to the forums, first and foremost. :)
second thing is that unfortunately we don't deal with queries like this at OFPEC - we can however direct you to some people who do ;)
try the BIS official forums (http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard311/ikonboard.cgi), or alternatively search the avon lady's site (http://www.theavonlady.org/theofpfaq/). it's likely you'll get the answer you're looking for there, more likely than here as we deal primarily with the editing side of things.
as an aside, i play exclusively with the mouse/keyboard and have no problems. try pressing the '*' key on the numeric keypad. you'll find your view can be moved around while moving in the original direction. just remember to press it again to toggle off.

I think that BIS 'fixed' it, in one of their patches, so that the joystick always autocentres, nothing you can do about it. AFAIK :-\
