Hello all, ive been playing OFP for years but im interested in playing ww2 mods and others.. I tried to find a step by step guide but couldnt see it, can someone point me in the directon of a step by step way of setting up my OFP so I can play all these great missions? I need the usual necessary files etc to get started out!

Welcome to the forums!

Any good addon, mission or mod will include installation instructions in the readme.   (If it doesn't have a readme, delete it immediately.)   It's all fairly straighforward.    

However before starting, you should patch your OFP to the latest version which is 1.46 if you have Cold War Crisis, or 1.96 if you have Resistance/GOTY.   (If you have CWC you are strongly recommended to buy GOTY.)    www.flashpoint1985.com

thanks for the swift reply, I have OFP all patched up and Resistance (which I have just patched too).. I'm just dipping my toe in the water with all this..
