Title: Making addons

when i click on o2viewer this error comes up [Unable to open external viewer] and I click ok and I made a box and when I went to put the textures on it would not do it it said no textures added. I followed this help page my friend gave me and it still say the same thing someone help me please ;) my e-mail is snowfox@direcway.com thank you.
