How do you get a unit to sit on a chair say the 'Chair Small' from the objects list? ???
-
Hey there 8) Ok you can only use the "chair x" If you try it
you can actually move through this object! If you look
closely you will see that the unit, when he sits, actually
sits just below the chair seat. So just position the unit
in front of the chair, then use switchmove"fxstandunivtable"
then to get the unit to stand switchmove"fxstandfromtable"
Hope this helps! ;)

Thanks, your idea worked when i put the script/command in a trigger (not when i tried in in the soldiers init feild) but its not just 'chair x' i have to use, i've got it to work with 'chair small' too.

Cool 8) Yep you can do it that way as well!!
And the sm chair, well it is smaller! :P It should work in
the unit intel field, But hey thats good it worked! ;D

Sorry. I just tried it again and it didn't seem to work with the other chairs ??? They can sit on the chair sideways but my soldier was in the sitting position to the side of the chair when i tried to get him to sit facing the same direction as the chair. Unless i just had the soldier to far back and he would have been sitting on the back of the chair?

Ok you need to use the chair X
This chair was made to be used for units to sit on. BIS did
it this way.To cause less confusion, just use this chair;
chair X ;D Seriously this is the better chair to use!!! ;D 8)
