Title: Sun out at night

I keep experiencing a strange bug that I only get once in a while. I see the sun out at night time. I've been making a mission with this happening so I tried changing the date and it worked the first time I tested. I now saw the moon out low in the horizon. Then after a couple more tests I started seeing the sun again right next to the moon. This is driving me crazy...LOL.

Has anyone had seen this before?

I've had the problem off and on over the last couple years when making missions but i never asked anyone about it.

just out of interest, what date and time is your mission set to? what island? weather effects?

I've seen the sun at night through the land, when there has been a clipping problem.    But never in the sky.

Is it light?  Or is it dark with an ineffective sun?

It might be that you have it set to early morning during the summer, around say 05.30...

The difference in between the amount of light at 07.00 hours in July and 07.00 hours in January in phonominal.

The mission starts Wed. July, 31, 5:45am.

When 1rst obj is done it skiptimes 11 hours so by the time 1rst obj is done it ends up being about 8:00pm or later(usually later). The moon is low in the eastern sky along with the sun right beside it. It couldn't be the sun setting because its in the east.

I've had this happen before and have changed the time & date to see what happens & eventually I can get rid of it. I never noticed if it only happened in summer, Tyger.

Other people I've played with have seen it before but none knew what caused it.

I guess I'll just keep changing the date until its gone.

Hmm, I've tried every month of the year and I cant get rid of this night time sun...

I have never seen the sun at night in ofp.....ever.

Somebody should try and replicate that.  It's certainly the prettiest problem every posted on this forum.

Ya it's a nice conjunction of the sun & moon. Astronomers would go nuts...

perhaps its a bug in the skiptime command?
maybe the sun still acts normally.
try this, start during the day and put a skiptime and see if the sun moves
