I press the Print Screen button and then copy the result into my graphics editing package.  There is software that allows more felxibility that this provides - but it works.  I am sure others will give you a list.

Kegetys' special FX has a screenshot function. Haven't got a link right now.

There are several screenshot utilities that you can download free from the net.    Make sure it can handle directX applications, some of them can't.

Two free screenschot/movie capture utilities I know about are Grabclipsave (http://www.boumchalak.net/content/view/19/40/) and Taksi (http://taksi.sourceforge.net/)

My dxdll saves to .tga's. DXDll is proably the safest bet as it doesn't put a stamp on all your shots like I think hypersnap does and improves your graphics along the way. Also, if your planning on taking screenshots the old camera.sqs may come in handy  ;) There's a tutorial on it in the editors depot written by Messiah.

I use Fraps...

It is really nice, you can keep track of the FPS too.
But as mine isnt registered it saves in bmp (thats why my screenshots folder has 500MB), but then just open paint and convert to jpeg.
It is ok (i guess 8)).

DxDll is better but as my pc cant handle it, I cant use it. But with that your screenshots look way better.
I would recommend dxdll.  :P

Beside those two never used anything else.

Hope it helps  ;D
