Title: Binarize, new tool from BIS
Post by: kitoharna on 11 Oct 2002, 15:56:55
Just seen on Breathe site (http://www.flashpoint1985.com/breathe/): "You can use Binarize tool to optimize your Operation Flashpoint addons. "

The link to the actual file on their site seems dead...

What they need is a prog that decompiles .bin files. I tried that OFP manager tool. It didn't do a perfect decompile of a .bin file. So I found it was pretty useless *grumbles*

You can find it on French NDF website (http://wwwpryan.utc.fr/ndf85/principal/index.php). This is the tool section (http://wwwpryan.utc.fr/ndf85/operation/download.php?cat=o) with DL Binarize link.

The tool takes MLOD .p3ds and compresses them into smaller .OLOD files, so only modmakers could really have a use for it.

If it converts them to ODOL, it is now possible to add custom buildings and other objects to new maps... =)
