Title: sound not starting from the start?

when using the command

playsound "soundname"

its starting the sound about 1/4 of the way thow insted of the begining
it is a custom ogg file, but works fine somtimes, and i have tryed diffrent formats (of ogg)

any ideas why?

without knowing more about the situation, there's not much we can suggest. my initial thoughts are that the file could be corrupted (unlikely) or that the volume is playing up  :-\

well where are you running the sound from i would suggest using
player say "soundname"
that will probally work better erm are there any gaps in your sound file i cant really think of anymore without you explaining more about the situation
