Title: Units with Ants in their Pants
Post by: THobson on 10 Jun 2005, 20:38:36
I have some cutscenes in which the units involved happily stand still as they should, but sometime they rock about from one foot to the other as if they have something uncomfortanble in their pants.  Most disconcerting.

Any suggestions?

a plain standing switchmove might help that shouldnt make them rock but it depends if theyre in alert or safe mode

 ;DOdd I missed that in comref ;D

They are all safe and have a switchMove.  I am beginign to wonder if it is something to do with the ground not being level.

is this swaying like their feet are tired and are swaying to keep weight on their feet or is it like there about to fall over and just pull them selves up ?

The first.  The rock sideways, not backwards and forwards.  It looks like they are dieing for a pee.

Needs custom anim, then just use loon1 playmove "yourClassnameThing"
Dont know if there's an anim pack with something like this in it

j/k ::) :)

Its probably the uneven ground and maybe the unit is trying to lie down because of the slope. Or maybe its in contact with something and OFP is having clipping problems.

Otherwise I dunno...
