Title: Invisible units in cargo bug?
Post by: BlackDeath7 on 30 May 2005, 18:38:42
Hey guys,

I am trying to create a mission and have run into a serious bug.  I want four guys to get into a jeep and drive somewhere (simple right?).
However, there is a problem that is totally not cool.  When the guys "get" into the jeep, 3 of them are invisible and only one of them is able to be seen.  Sometimes it's the driver, sometimes a passenger (wierd).
I tried using "get in" waypoints and "in cargo" for the units themselves, but both result in the same thing.  Then when I shoot at the jeep, my computer exits to desktop.
Any ideas why this is happening or how to solve it?  Thanks for the help.

Or addon units?

What happens if you try it using BIS units/vehicles and a clean addons folder?

I am using the standard BIS west jeep, resistance jeep, police jeep, and Humvee.  All have this bug.  The UAZ and 5T truck and other vehicles do not have this bug.  Also, I have downloaded the Combat! mod's vehicles, and they have the same bug as well.  This bug occurs when I have regular units and/or addon units get in.  Hope this info helps.

Nevermind, I fixed it.

There was an older addon interfering with the .model or something like that.  In any event, I can now shoot at jeeps!  w00t.  Thanks for the help anyway guys.
