Title: Where are you?
Post by: bobrgb on 19 May 2005, 19:35:20
Why are AI soldiers asking this when they should be following their fearless leader into harm's way? Is this an outdistancing issue or a too stealthy for my own good issue?

All I can do is tell them to move somewhere where I can be more readily spotted but this may not be a safe move for them while they are asking.  Perhaps this is a leftover function of a multiplayer script?

Tell them to stop.

It is an outdistancing issue.  I don't know how you tell them to stop it.  I tell them to move to my current location.

They do that if they get too far away from you.  Generally, they start saying that, but still keep following.

mhmm, one of the less realistic facets of flashpoint - even if your loons cannot possibly have any idea where you are, they'll eventually catch up with you.

even if you fly away to the other side of the island and hide in the woods, they'll come and find you - after counting to one hundred, of course.
