Title: Creating Ground textures

I've got a similar topic in the 'island editing' section but I was wondering if anyone here can help...

I've started making ground textures for a new island, but i'm finding it really hard to make them join seamlessly. (You can see an ugly line where the textures doesnt join properly)

A few questions, if anyone can help...

What program/graphic editor do you use?

How can i make the textures join seamlessly?

Could it have anything to do with my computer's graphics setup?
