Title: BAS Addon Pack Complete (ALL IN ONE)
Post by: GanjaBlood on 01 Apr 2005, 17:12:20: I have created an installer that installs ALL of the BAS addons to date in one go...

It can be downloaded here;

It can now be downloaded directly from FilePlanet!

Just point it in the direction of your operation flashpoint directory and off you go!

I created this for friends initially, people who don't have the technical knowledge or the willpower to site there and read multiple FAQ's.

Please post to tell me what you think and spread the download location as much as possible.

Doing this from work with 2mb upstream so shouldn't take too long..

Post by: DMarkwick on 03 May 2005, 13:55:15: I agree, a nice idea. However I'm having trouble using the MSI file, in that it won't allow me to point it at the correct install directory. The only place it seems to want to install is the default C: drive location. I don't get the "Change" button at anytime.

Thanks for the reply BTW.

The only issue I had was it installing to "OperationFlashpoint" and not "Operation Flashpoint" directory. (Space) Just copied it all across, fine :)

Post by: macguba on 17 May 2005, 12:35:20: Ganjablood I suspect this one will be a slow burner. Most people already have all the BAS addons so there is no need to download your helpful pack. However, when some crappy badly made addon fries their whole computer and they have to reinstall, they will find it very useful.

Post this over on the official forums (http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard311/ikonboard.cgi). They are pretty addon-crazy over there, so it should get a much better reception.
