Title: changing the colour of unit icons (the circles with the line) on the map
Post by: hyori on 21 Mar 2005, 05:52:16
is it possible to change the colour of each unit icon on the map? like instead of having a green or red circle/tank/plane/heli... some can be green, some blue, some yellow, etc.

From what I understand, those icon colors are coded within the game. Changing them might be possible, but would be difficult I think.

Currently, the colors are set to have a specific meaning for each:

Green = Friendly
Red = Enemy
Yellow = Unknown
Blue = Civilian

I'm not saying this is possible or impossible. But if it is possible, I'm sure it will take much work. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yrah, it should be possible.. take it for example, when you use the latest FlashFX mod, go onto the mission editor, they made it look more clean plus
(wthout clicking show textures) they made the mission editor appear more green..

take a look...
