i'd like to make an addon pack with weapons and gear that are 30-50 years into the future. not too spaced out, hightech items inspired by todays state of the art equipment.
im a modeller and can pump out models in 3dsmax pretty fast. i did the one below in about half a day.

I think this will still be viewed as Sci-Fi and might be locked by the moderators, mainly because it is futuristic, and discussion of such is not encouraged on these forums.

and i would like to make more equipment to fit it. both personal and vehicles

My "problem" with the model is animating the thrusters..
Maybe set them up like speedometers arms?
Not sure how well that will work though.. Any ideas?

wont necessarily be sci fi, the B52 is suppose to operate to around 2045-2050

Anyway, there aren't many good futuristic addons out there, so this pack could be quite good :)

a lot of the modern vehicles coming out will probably be seen for the next 20 years maybe more
the computers and weaponry will probably advance more than the vehicles
for now

you could make a gun that is somewhat along the lines of the OICW or TAR-21. a soldier that is like the future warrior dude that the military is working on. and a compact jeep(like the hog form Halo).
