How to name a trigger???
-
hmm - kinda tricky thing ;D
Best you name it in the name-field.
Take care, that your editor is set to advanced (top right
corner).

I share yer point of view, GI :P :) It's really hard to find a good name...
for instance, I have got two kids myself, and when I had'a find names for 'em
man, I tell ya, it wuzn't easy! ::) "how to name them?", I thought... for months.
Then suddenly, my.... hold on, now! There's som'n wrong here?! :o
Isn't this the "PAPA's DREAM" site ??? ...the nappy board? ...anyone?!
Have I gone to the wrong place?! Noo, can't be! :P >:(
------------------
After much cosideration, I come to the following conclusion :
A child is NOT the trigger of ALL accidents in your home; there are
other factors, such as sex with the neighbor, or yer M.I.L's cooking!!! :o :D ;D
What we really need is a way to NAME them things, coz naming is
half preventing, thats what my granny always said. And thus:
Here's a tiny tutorilla on the whole "naming triggers" issue. :-* 8) :beat:
---------------
1. create a car - name it CAR
2. create a trigger - name it CAR_TRIGGER in the name field, not the text field.
3. And now, provided the trigger is activated & covers the car,
the trigger will add the car to a default array called THISLIST in the editor
(sort of, actually not, but just lemme confuse ya, lassy)
4. THISLIST equates with "LIST CAR_TRIGGER", but as THISLIST can only be
used from within the list itself, that is the CAR_TRIGGER's activation field,
hence the THIS and the LIST ( ::) ;D ) uuum, then ya cannot
use THISLIST from, say a script or some WP.
5. Now, this is where the NAME_OF_TRIGGER comes in, as you can
create & use arrays by using the NAME_OF_TRIGGER.
6. Like if I wanna count (check) if CAR is in the trigger to use it as a condition,
then I can put :
CAR in List CAR_TRIGGER
as my condition :D in some WP/other trigger/script etc. :)
(what did I eat today?!) ::)

And also, you can use it to name radio commands.

And also, you can use it to name radio commands
hmm - not sure, what you mean here, but if you mean
the name, which would show up at the radio on map,
or when pressing 0/0/radio-call,
then this would be done rather in the text field than in the
name field.
