Electeric Fence  .....
I don't Know much about the limitations Of OFP
But their are some great effects out there
is an electric fence possible ?
would make for some interesting missions
 ;D

Shouldn't be too hard to make, and it would be good to have one.  ;)

Simple fence model with a sign saying 'DANGER! ELECTRICITY!' etc, and a script that makes the player lose health when he gets too close.  ;D

im pretty sure the zapping is just in the movies, ive touched an electic fence it dint make any noise. It was hooked up to a car battery, Im not sure if higher voltage ones will make a noise though

 
but when u get near it u can hear an electic humming noise

If you touch one they don't make a noise, you can feel a pulsing/crackling felling in your arm.. THe only thing that makes a noise is who ever touches it ::)
You could do a simple thing with an object, and a trigger over it, that runs a script on anyone who talks into it..
Maybe take of 0.001 health and blank the screen out? Or junp the player back a bit

I think they mean a much more powerful electric fence than what your thinking of... Like one of those masive half-a-million volts setups (A.K.A. the kind that KILLS when you touch it)

Yeah, I'm not sure what vote ones anyone else has touched, but i'm pretty sure the only ones in public areas are small ones made for shocking cows so they don't smash out of the field.  ;)

Actually, I once broke a camcorder by leading on a electric fence whilst carrying it. It was funny watching the tape afterwards though.
Some guy standing in a field -to- me saying 'ow! what the..' -to- a loud fussing noise and the picture going completely white.  ;D

Well there's an easy way to find out what a High-voltage fence sounds like:

Things needed:
1) A high-voltage electric fence
2) a camera with sound-recording abilities
3) Somone you don't like...

(I think we all se where this is going  ;))
