Hey angsum a few days ago you had a question about a lightsource, mcguba answered you with use setpos and a headlamp.
You answered back with a "works great!"
But no one can figure out how you got the headlamp to work, this inflame true doesnt work etc, etc,... Mind helping us out???

By the way I spelled your name wrong...very sorry AngusJM
-
Have you tried something like:
lightname action ["light On"]
Planck
-
Ill try that line and post back thanks
-
it doesn't work.
and be warned - this switchlight "on" seems to light up the lamp just fine, until i preview again and then ofp crashes to desktop.
i'd be interested to hear the result of this...

I got this switchlight "on" to work with the workdesk lamp so far, Im gonna try every light i have and post back with the names of the ones that work
-
IMO switchlight is only intended for streetlights embedded in .wrp files.
When used on lights that are placed in the editor, the light source usually appears half way up {or half way down, depends how you look at it :)) the light model.
And then of course it also causes a CTD if previewed more than once.
