scenario: i have an armed loon, he's grouped with an unarmed loon. they're both on their waypointed journey. the unarmed loon travels more slowly, and eventually they get separated. i do not want this.
i have mucked around with setting the speed of the group, distance commands and so on, but ideally what i'd like to do is dostop the armed loon until the unarmed loon catches up, and then have them both continue again.
now i could do this with domove to getmarkerpos and suchlike, and triggers to tell me when they get to specific points, but is there a way to either a) un-stop a loon so he continues on his preplanned waypoint route or b) name waypoints so i know which to domove him towards?

Waypoints are already named, effectively, or rather numbered. However, afaik there is no way to tell which waypoint is "active".
Issuing doStop commands to the lead loon, combined with doFollow commands when the second chap catches up, might work.

that does indeed seem to have done the trick. it looks like some sort of weird mating dance right enough, but it does work, and that's the main thing ;)
