you click on the map where any unit you tell to under your control will then proceed to pound the crap out of that lil grid sqaure with whatever it is theyre armed with

better yet they fire a set limit on the salvo so to not extingusih all ammo

with all the arty addons and scripts id figure this is possible and realistic

its not like real soldiers just fire at something only when they can see it.

well assuming you know basic scripting you could use this:

onMapSingleClick {Target setpos getpos _pos}

"_x dofire target" foreach units group player
And use whatever else you wish.
