Title: Scripting/Programing Resources
Post by: BGrenko on 03 Oct 2002, 16:01:48
I'm looking for a good book on scripting and/or programming that would give me the skills needed to fully exploit OFP's scripting facilities.

So, does OFP use a common scripting language ?

If not, is there a scripting or programming language (like c++ for example) that I could bone up on that would help me better utilize OFP's scripting language.

Any insight would be appreciated ! Thanks

Flashpoint scripting is very much in a class of its own.  It holds some similarities with python, but not enough so that a abook on python would be of any use to you.

There are no books you can get to help you.  The best way to learn is with the written tutorials in the editors depot (link top of the screen), read and inwardly digest.
