Can anyone please tell me how I can (easily) add Spetsnaz to the Resistance, without having to add an East Spetsnaz to a Resistance Group in the mission editor?
Thank you all!

You would have to create an addon.

Why would you not want to add them to a resistance group in the editor? Just create a high ranking resistance soldier with condition of presence: false. Create a lower ranking Spetz Natz, and group him with the resistance solider. In the mission you don't get the resistance soldier, you just get a Spetz Natz that behaves like a resistance soldier.

You could just change resistance's alignment to evil. You know, make them friendly to East. They wouldn't be resistance but they would be on their side.
What THobson says will work if you want a group of resistance Spetz naz running about. It will mean adding them to a resistance group tho.

you could use that trick where you give them a group leader from the resistance and stick "deletevehicle this" in his init.
-
Place you spetznas on the map, name him, open the mission.sqm as a textfile, scroll down until you find your spetznas and change his side manually to GUER
-
What nominesine said works! I have used that method. Except instead of scrolling down, do a search for the name you give him (it is faster than scrolling down in long mission.sqm files). ;D
-
But you have to repeat it everytime you save the mission.
-
No, not every time you save. But every time you "open" the unit and try to edit it, the unit will change back to itÂ's original side.
-
nominesine is correct.
However, the solution mentioned by bored_onion is MUCH easier and you don't have the problem of the unit reverting to its original side.

sounds like the res unit leader way wud be a lil more laggy....
-
A single unit that doesn't even appear in the mission? I doubt you can blame much lag on that.
