Title: Out of video memory? wha?!

Ok so whenever I install an addon I get the following error:

Cannot create 3D device:
Adapter 0 (Celestica Gold Edition Rdaeon 9600XT 128MB)
Fullscreen resolution 1024x768, format X8R8G8B8/D24S8, refresh 75 hz.
Error D3DERR_OUTOFVIDEOMEMORY


whenever I try to start the game this error pops up. But, when I unistall the addon I dont recieve the error anymore.  I havent had any addon problems up until 3 days or so ago.

Can anyone help? ???

That is possibly the most annoying problem with flashpoint. >:(  I managed to get it to stop by:

1. Right click on the OFP shortcut and select 'Properties'
2. In the 'Target' box by the top, put the following code, instead of the one thats in there already

Code: [Select]

"C:\Program Files\Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.EXE" -nosplash -nomap3. Click apply, and test it  ;)

That worked for me.

Of course, if you don't have resistance, use this

Code: [Select]

"C:\Program Files\Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\FLASHPOINTBETA.EXE" -nosplash -nomap
/\ I think /\  :P

That usualy happens when you try to load too many addons at once, a good solution would be to use mod folders.

check the editors depot. there's a tutorial in there somewhere (they aren't hard). just quicksearch "mod folders" (no quotes).
