Ok.
folowing a hot topic in the addons ideas forum I now send out my "M16Sc" for testing it should count as a sniper rifle please post your thoughts. ;)

full addon will have new sniper.

EDIT:sorry tested my self and found didn't work
fixed now here.

more ideas I get the more I can do to it.  ;D

Not bad  ;D

Just an idea, but if you maybe changed the optics to M21 or just any cross scope, then it would be recognisably different from the scoped M4.  :thumbsup: But thats just being picky  ;)

Right on it I'll post it on this reply with the hunting rifle sight posably the SVD sight on next post. ;)

EDIT: got it now. Sorry wrong sight SVD now here insted.

its good, but I think you should copy and paste the pilot LOD into the first LOD. I think most computers should be able to handle it now a days :)

I haven't played whit it but i like the Idee of putting the xm scope on the M16 but please use the standard M16 handgaurds not the ones made for the M203. You could also add a bipod, and maby do two addons one whit and one whit out camo, just idears.

I normaly do that so I'll do that now.

Ok the M203 hand gaurds are experimental and probably won't be in the final addon.
The the bipod sounds good and I may try that but that'll take time and I'm feling lazy.
 ;D


and the results are as follows:
The pilot lod as lod 0.000 made the file to big for beta testing.
And here is the normal hand gaurds on the m16.

you know what i think of this? it sucks.

but only because it doesnt work. everytime i put the 'sniper (with m16)' in the editor is says something about .model. i opened up the .pbo and i saw some ways it might not work and changed them but it still doesnt work.

but if it did work it would be great i guess.

hi i guess its been a while since anyone posted about this thread, but i can see the coolness of a scoped m16. (especially with the xms scope)

i tried the latest upload and there were few problems, mainly dealing with the shadows. the problem with the shadows is that the muzzle flash and the non-existant m203 can be seen.

i also want to say that you should take out the m203 handguards as they look funny.

so if you can fix those problems and upload another version hopefully it will work and be awesome.
