Title: front lines
Post by: AnarCHy on 28 Jan 2005, 01:47:25
I was wondering, for use in a very large MP mission, how and if it would be possible ot have a line marker, varying in size (length) stretch between groups named alpha, bravo, and charlie?

hope you can help in any way!  thanks much,

AAA

dont exatly know what you mean but if you want the markers to show the position of alpha and so on..... use this marker script....

you can resize, recolour hide, show and even change the marker type in a script.

with some elaborate scripting, using getpos, getdir  and distance command you would be able to get a marker, say a rectangular thin marker which would appear as a line to be orientated and resized to dynamically create a visible line between any moving objects on the map
