Hey-

Don't worry everybody starts somewhere.  There are many tutorials and actual briefing generators in the editors depot.  Here is a link to some of them.

The tutorial mission has a working example of a briefing which you can use as a template.

But read snYpir's Briefing.html tutorial.    In fact, you are strongly recommended to become familiar with all of the tutorials in the Editors Depot - Tutorials - Getting Started.
