Title: Grenada

What about a campaign that is based on the American invasion of Grenada in 1983?  Someone would needto make a map but because of the size of Grenada it could be made actual size.  The whole main island is only 18 miles long (28km) and 9 miles across (14 km).

And the main opening mission would be an insertion via Huey just onto the beach? You would be the leader of the recon USMC platoon, you would be Clint Eastwood 8).

Then the second mission of the campaign would be taking some hill and freeing the student hostages there.

Then a nice cutscene would follow with your Co. commander yelling at you, while the general would yell at him and bless you ;D.

This would be a cool campaign; a mini campaign for that operation lasted for 1 or 2 days only.

Also essential to this plot, would be a cut scene where the college coeds to be rescued are taking showers!   ;D

That'd be badass.  Seriously, we got HYK units from 85 to go with that!  We need the island though.   We also need a generic south american military.

Wouldn't turn out to good with OFP's models...  ;)

A campaign is certainly the way to go with this... and all the addons needed are pretty much released, that is unless you want an island made just for Grenada....

mcnools pacific island, generic opfor paramilitary units, bas tonali special forces as the cuban military, its history.  lots of research tools available on the subject.  Count me in as mission editor and voice actor.  The story is better if we focus on a hero and the only other person talking are the npc's because other soldiers could die at any moment so its not best to make characters out of them.  The rangers played an essential part in rescuing those college kids, HYK 1.52 could be very good for this one, especially the lsr jam version.  Man, I'd be honored to recreate that operation.
