Title: Airports on islands

I am planning on editing BIS's Koljugev Island by adding an airport. First I need a question answered: Is it possible to make an airport that goes in a direction other than North/South? And still work with Landing Autopilot? It seems like every airport runs in this direction. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Your best bet is North - South or South - North.

East - West or West - East don't work too well, if at all.
