Title: Two player simple squad control script
Post by: Apollo on 23 Oct 2004, 19:44:03
I have a problem with the included mission.  Its great use of the group command script and an excellent mission and though its a year old its one of freshest concepts i have seen.

The problem I am having with this mission is in multiplayer the east side can only see the west units and if east is allowed to command groups the east commander commands the west groups and not the east.  Same problem with the scud and artillery support.  I opened it up and tried to hunt it down thinking that the problem laid in the Player1Command.sqs or the Player2Command.sqs but i cant seem to trace the problem down.

I searched the forums to see if this was a common problem with no results and all the comments for the script were excellent stating no problems.

If someone could help me out i would be so greatful since Mr. Speirs (the author)  is, or was a part of ofpec im sure someone knows something.

You can find the script here   two player simple squad control  (http://www.ofpec.com/editors/browse.php?browseon=&browsewhat=-1&catselected=-1_-1&catagory=-1&subcategory=-1_-1&numreturn=25&displayformat=0&ofpv=1&searchwhat=1&searchlevel=0&searchwhat=1&searchopts=&searchstring=moph)

Download Ronald Spears Multi Squad script. Works perfect!
You will find in mission depot. You can control up to 10 squads each side!

I think I have misread your question :)
Player1 HAS TO BE WEST who will be the host. So if you want to play with East you have to be PLAYER2 who is the client.
