how many addons can i put in my addons folder???

As much as you want........in theory.
You are only limited by your hard drive space I imagine.....and possibly your processor to a smaller extent.
However it depends on which version of OFP you are running also.
Version 1.96 includes the option of the -nomap command line switch to stop addon memory mapping problems.

I've had over 700mb of addons loaded, with no issues at all. (Using v1.96 and -nomap).
I've since gone to using mod folders just to be more organized, but I don't notice any difference in performance either way.
