Title: Hunted script
Post by: Skumball on 18 Aug 2004, 19:02:07

Hi all. I've uploaded my hunted script to the Editors Depot. It's pending at the moment. Have a look and let me know what you think.

"This script enables a specified side to hunt for a specified unit.

If a unit spots the hunted unit it will move to the hunted unit with an accuracy dependent on how much the hunter knows about the hunted.

The hunter will pass this information on to any comrade who is within a specified distance of the hunter who is unaware of the hunted, and they will join the hunt."

Thanks!

Doesn't this belong in Scripting:  Beta-Testing?

If the script needs beta testing it should not be in the Editors Depot.

This looks a bit like advertising,  ::)  which in general is, um, "discouraged" in the forums.

Advertising in your signature line is of course totally fine.   ;)

Assuming the script is accepted by the Ed Depot it will get a news post on the OFPEC homepage, which is about the best advertising you can hope for.  8)

Sorry guys, won't happen again. I'll, ahem, move the advertising to my sig next time  :-*

It surely won't happen again here. This is not an advanced editing question (it's not a question at all) and that's why it's considered off topic.
