I wanted to ask a completely off topic question. Before I ask it I want to see if I have permission.

I'll understand if I can't, but this community is the most polite and kind I've met, and I would only ask you about this. :P

This isn't an editing board so I'd say shoot. What's the worst that could happen? The topic gets locked? Ohh well... :P ::)
