Title: Playing more than one music file
Post by: pazuzu on 20 Jun 2004, 20:58:06
Hi, I'm having trouble playing more than one music file in the mission I'm making. I have 3 ogg files in my music folder but only one will play & only in the first trigger I've set for the intro/cutscene. When I set another trigger to play another music file for later in the game the trigger will work for text but the music wont play. I'm making this mission for OFP Cold war crisis v1.46. Is there a limit for size of music files in this version?

Oh & not only will the custom music not play but also the stock music from editor...

Thanks

You haven't used the time fademusic volume command anywhere, have you? On the top of my head that's the only thing I can think of.

Yes I have.

36 fade music 0

Does this mess it up?

Appreciate the help...

Hehe, well sure it does.  :D
The fademusic command adjusts the music volume in game. If you have set it to zero, you must raise it back to 0.5 (default), in order to hear music for the rest of the mission.  ;)

LOL...I just coppied this from another map but didn't know what that command did. I should have checked command reference.

I took it out & the music plays now but I'm wondering how I can get one of the songs to fade out more smoothly. It kinda ends suddenly.

Is there a way of fading out a song at the end of it with a command?

How would I write this & allow the other music to play also?

Just wondering about the syntax...

Thanks for the help
