Title: how do u edit config.cpp for 1.46 addons?

Hello everybody! ;)

     I was wondering how do u change the config.cpp file for the older 1.46 addons such as that new M82 rifle? ???
     
The reason I am asking is because the muzzle flash is permanent and without the change to the config file, it is really annoying. >:(
also, how do u get to the file and does it affect the more modern weapons?

Just open it in notepad or word pad, edit it, and save it.

thanks, but what do I edit? e.g. what do I change it to?

and how do you get to the addon files in notepad?
