Hi, we've made a lanparty this WE where we played ofp and sc2 at. Well, one of my friends couldnt play ofp. After a time his screen went all grey, he had action menu still and could shoot, but distance to leader was shown 9999999 metres or something.
HE'S GOT A BUYED VERSION OF OFP, because my first thought is that it could be that special behaviour of ofp, degrading in cracked vers. Also, in multiplayer some message came looking like this:
Remember: Original software doesnt get worse!
Or something, but i was wondering cuz our versions are non-cracked originals.
Hes got an ati radeon 9600 or 9800, forgot now, his motherboard is from ati and i think hes got an athlon.

if it said original games do no fade.......even if you have a bought version of the game that will show if:
a) you put in the nocd patch incorrectly
b) more than 1 person connects with the same player ID
if you see it again, type #userlist and look at ID numbers, if any two or more match, that's your problem. Hope this helps, but I am pretty sure it's off topic here since it really isn't a scripting issue.
