Title: New to scripting

Hi im new to scripting but i have not got a clue where to begin can anyone help me please by telling what you did to get started.

also, i have some cool ideas for missions for anyone would like to hear.

Cool Mission ideas go on the (you've guessed it) "Mission Ideas" board.

To get scripting under way, start with snYpir's Friendly Intro to Code Snippets and Johan Gustafsson's Scripting Guide.   If you want to see some simple but "real" scripts check out the Tutorial Mission.    All in the Editors Depot - Tutorials.

And in addition to what Mcguba said: Go get some missions, DePBO them (Tool in Editors Depot) and look at the scripts...read them adn try to make sense of them, if not ask here...

Thats another way to learn scripting...
