Title: Is there a script that changes accuracy?
Post by: Chammy on 14 May 2004, 09:32:20
Is there a patch or mod or script that changes the accuracy of units?SO that they dont shoot so darned straight and hit a target on the first try?Cuase really, in real life, theres no way unless you're just a darned good shot.

Grab the Dynamic Range ECP Config (http://www.ofpec.com/editors/ecfg/), and then grab this test config (http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard311/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=4;t=38586) by yours truly. It will make it harder for both the AI and the player to hit things, since your aim wobbles.

The best thing about this ECP config, is that it will do this for ANY mission you play in OFP. If you use a script, you can only put it in missions you make.

SO this script, I wil have to put it into any mission that is created?Even other missions downloaded?Or just strictly the ones I create? The same for ECP?

The script is like any other script; you will have to put it in a mission via the editor. So you can put it in your own missions, or you could un-pbo someone else's mission, and insert it in yourself.

The ECP works with ANY mission; all you have to do is run the mod when you run OFP. With my test config, there is a wobble when you try to aim weapons, which affects you and the AI.
