Hello, everyone.
I need to have AI controlled civilian aircraft take off Nogovan runway. (Yes, I am using the working airfield south west in desert).
I place plane on taxiway , other waypoint further. Take off starts just fine, but right after it has taken off the field, it steers steeply to right or left and crashes.
Other type of planes, A-10 or SU-25 works ok. Just the civilian plane is having problems.
(Note: Plane is regular civilian plane that comes with game. No add on or mod plane)
Any ideas?
Thank you in advance,
Orion

Three suggestions:
1. make sure the waypoints you give the plane will not make it have to turn too sharply (at least not until it gets some altitude).
2. Put this in the on activation field of the second waypoint (after the intial waypoint):
plane flyInHeight 150
plane is the name of the plane and the 150 can be a different value, but I would not make it below 75
3. Make sure none of the waypoints have the plane's speed as "slow" The civilian planes stall easily.
I hope this helps.

Hey (http://www.prz.tu-berlin.de/~alsch/image_archive/icons/person/oldguy_sm.gif) I agree with Raptorsaurus.
To add a little point I came up with, if you are using a cutscene which shows the plane during flight then changing the height of the plane does alter the overall view in the cutscene. Background behind the plane does surely change for instance. However, if you don't use a cutscene about the flight, don't worry be happy! ;)

Hi ya (http://www.prz.tu-berlin.de/~alsch/image_archive/icons/person/oldguy_sm.gif)
If Raptorsaurus suggestions and my little opinion didn't work for you, then I think you should open a new thread cause this thread is now on the second page of editing forum board and falling down... Sometimes people just take a look at the first page of the forums and skip following pages. otherwise your problem may wait for a long long time I think. it had happened to me...
