I was just lookin at SkyNews today, on the report on the genoicde in Rwanda, and about how the International forces pulled back and just watched.Has anyone brought up the idea of missions or terrain(like Tonal) making for this? It'd be a touchy subject, since nearly 1m people were killed, but I think it'd make a good campaign(if anyone had the time) with mission with UN, US, or any other forces in the area at the time. Ideas and thoughts?

Hey I watched a movie once called no mans land and they mentioned a name called "rwanda" but I do think they have a couple serbian/bosnian mods out there you can ask.

I don't know... I am not sure how you are going to make a success mission/campaign on this topic. 1 million people died in 100-days and not one member from the International country stepped up to the plate and stopped it. Most were fearful of doing so because it was shadowed by Somalia and the "BHD" incident. I think this incident is too brutal to have played out in the OFP Community. I guess if anything you could make a "Tears of the Sun" idea based mission.

couldnt you, though, base a similiar plot with the Tutsise and Hutu's fighting each other... so it would be guerrila vs guerilla fighting - lots of bush fighting, ambushes, stuff like that...
although leave out the slaughter of innocent people

I know it's a touchy subject like I said, but I thought I'd just spit it out cos I can't make missions so if anyone else wanted to try it. ;) Feel free.
